My wife Jenny and I live in the Dandenong Ranges just outside Melbourne.
I am retired and my three hobbies are photography, model and full size railways, and looking after our home and grounds.
I really enjoy taking photographs and have posted on Picasa/Google photos/Facebook for some time. Google tells me my photos have had more than 89 million views!
I’ve decided to start my own site to share my hobby and make a few comments (blogs) about photography, my photos and places we visit.
I currently use a Canon 7D with a variety of lenses.
I love photographing God’s wonderful creation – nature – especially birds and flowers, and I also like creating landscapes and panoramas.
Jenny is starting to catch the photo bug and uses my ‘old’ Canon 400D. She took the shot of me on the right on a recent holiday in Port Macquarie. We go there quite a lot, so you may notice many photos with ‘Taken at Port Macquarie’ on them. It is a great place to capture sunsets, and you can view some of them in my Sunset Gallery.
I hope you enjoy my photography as much as I enjoy taking the pictures.
Please feel free to make comments or ask questions. I’m learning as I go and am only too happy to learn from others and share my knowledge too.
